three murals by local artists and/or art collectives will be featured on the pantry’s exterior walls.
“what nourishes you?"
working with the above prompt, murals will speak to and portray different perspectives and experiences of community, resiliency, and mutual aid in maine.
an open call for submissions was held june 1 - july 17.
artwork was submitted digitally or in person.
murals must be scaleable to either
69” x 111” and 116” x 93” to fit the exterior walls.
a public vote was held between july 22-26 to choose the three finalists. winners will be announced in august and will receive a $750 stipend as well as necessary painting materials.

a grant program administered by SPACE gallery.
